      ABOUT THE CONFERENCE

The scientific and technical conference continues the traditions of the First International Conference “Welding in Russia-2019: State-of-the-Art and Perspectives”, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of B.E. Paton, in the city of Tomsk from September 3-7, 2019, at the Institute of Strength Physics and Materials Science SB RAS. More information about the conference you may get here http://www.wr2019.ispms.ru.

The II International Conference “Welding in Russia-2019: State-of-the-Art and Perspectives” will be organized in Yakutsk, Russia on July, 6-9, 2020. It is dedicated to the 50th anniversary of the V.P. Larionov Institute of Physical-Technical Problems of the North SB RAS and will be held in the framework of the Eurasian Symposium on the problems of strength and lifetime in low climatic temperatures "EURASTRENCOLD - 2020".

The Conference will cover all areas of development of welding production, including international collaboration aimed at strengthening ties between leading scientists and experts in the field of welding and related technologies.

The conference plans to discuss a wide range of scientific and technical issues on the basics of creating a new class of materials and equipment intended for the production and repair of highly responsible structures, special-purpose equipment operated under extreme conditions, the reliability of responsible structures, and the reduction of risks of man-made accidents and their consequences, and also problems of training specialists in welding production will be raised.
